Auto-Pause addon

A service addon for the Kodi media player.

Set a timer to automatically pause video or music.
Helpful if you lose focus, or even fall asleep.
Just un-pause to continue.

Timer

Timer defaults to 60 seconds; modify in settings.
- A short timer helps by reminding to focus.
- A medium timer helps against losing track of progress within a single media item (podcast, tv show episode, movie).
- A long timer helps against losing track of progress within a playlist (podcast collection, tv show season, movie franchise).
Timer resets on user playback interaction, such as seeking or manually pausing.
- If you interact before the timer is up, playback will not auto-pause.
Timer does not reset when automatically changing to the next item in a playlist.
- Timer does reset when manually jumping between media or playlist items.

Installation

The script.service.auto-pause addon has not been published, and is thus not available in the official Kodi repository. Please download the zip file and install manually.
